Meet the artist
I grew up in Hull, surrounded by art and craftsmanship and it has taken a move back to the beautiful North Yorkshire coast to help me start my creative journey and capture just some of the sights and sounds I come across on my daily beach wanders.
My 2D compositions are inspired by the shapes and colours of the pebbles, the fossil finds and I add dried and pressed seaweed to create a collage of the coast.
I use my late mum’s watercolour paints and embroidery threads, combining them with ink and seaweed collected and pressed.
